Each site is surveyed in order to determine safe access strategies and safe working methods. We then produce site specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). These are then purveyed via toolbox talks through our team leaders and backed up through a stringent process of necessary red tape.
Operators only work on the equipment that they are specifically trained on. All of our operational staff, as a standard requirement are trained in Working at Height, First Aid courses, IPAF (for hydraulic access equipment) and PASMA (for mobile scaffold towers).
Cradle or Fixed access equipment requires site specific training; however our operators have many years’ experience in cradle operation.
Our Rope Access teams are trained to IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) standards and our head of teams is a Level 3 trainer.
Equipment checks are carried out on a monthly basis and recorded.
